Losing weight shouldn't really have it's ups and downs, it should all be about downs. Sadly, at the moment this is not the case. Having lost a fair amount over the last few months I haven't lost anything for the last few weeks and last week I put on a little. The reason for this is not hard to find. I spent last weekend with my beloved, and although we went to the gym together, we did eat rather a lot, and for the past week I have lost momentum, eating far too much - portion sizes have begun creeping up and I'm not weighing everything. I think part of the problem is that Christmas is coming up when I know I will overeat. My only chance is to keep up with the exercise, and to get back on my programme for those days when I don't have meals out. But it's hard.
Worth it in the long run of course.

All very easy to say, but I know you know I know what a bloody chore it is to do!
